Is there a minimum contract length?
No. Starter is free forever with no commitment. Professional plans are billed monthly with no annual contract required — you can cancel any time. Enterprise plans are typically structured as annual agreements to support custom integrations and dedicated onboarding, but we're flexible based on your agency's procurement process.
Where is data stored? Can we keep it in the US?
Yes. All data is stored in US-based data centers by default. Govzu does not transfer government data outside the United States. For Enterprise customers, we can provide documentation of our data residency practices and work with your IT security team to meet specific requirements.
Which accessibility standards does Govzu check against?
Govzu checks against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and WCAG 2.2, which cover the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Our checks include both automated detection and flagged items that require manual review. The Professional and Enterprise plans include the full accessibility policy category with detailed issue guidance.
How long is the free trial for the Professional plan?
The Professional plan free trial runs for 14 days with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial you can choose to subscribe or downgrade to the Starter plan — your data is never deleted.
Can I switch plans or add sites later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade your plan at any time and your billing will be prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Adding additional sites beyond your plan limit is available on Professional and Enterprise plans — contact us for volume pricing.
