Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Govzu platform, website, and related services (the "Service") provided by Intellizu LLC ("Govzu," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by them.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

Subject to these Terms, Govzu grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal compliance monitoring purposes. You may not resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission, except as expressly permitted under an Enterprise plan.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect your use.

3. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share login credentials with others outside your authorized team.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

4. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Scan websites you do not own or have explicit authorization to monitor
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
  • Transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service
  • Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure

5. Intellectual property

The Service and all content, features, and functionality — including software, text, graphics, logos, and icons — are owned by Intellizu LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited license described above.

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service, including the URLs and configurations you add. By using the Service, you grant Govzu a limited license to access and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Govzu does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all compliance issues on your websites will be detected.

Govzu's monitoring outputs are informational tools to assist your team — they do not constitute legal advice. You remain solely responsible for your agency's compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intellizu LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify account holders via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
